Maddie’s very own wedding invitations are the invitations that started it all. Maddie designed and fully hand-illustrated her save the date, which was printed on a semi-opaque vellum that overlayed one of their engagement photos. The save the dates were tied with green raffia (not pictured) and paired with a plantable wildflower seed paper hexagon hand-stamped with their wedding date. Invitations followed, printed on a textured deckle-edge paper, which was sent along with a Kraft-paper detail card. Maddie was trying to lean into intentional simplicity with her entire wedding day, which was echoed when designing her invitation suite.
